Resumo: (work with children and youth with intellectual disabilities)
The Association was established with the aim of performing humanitarian activities, education and promotion and active development of an inclusive culture, including our care and concern fot the promotion of the right of childen, adolescents and adults with special needs and children and adolescents with typical development.

We work with children and youth with intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties and behavioral problems that are often pushed to the edge of active social life. The activities of our society promote inclusive culture and socialization among children and adolescents coming from differen educational, cultural and social backgrounds.

The fundamental element of our activities is to connect children and adolescents through games and play and spending their free time together.

Our main activities are organising free-time, sport, art and theather project for children and young people with special needs and normal development, summer and autumn holiday day-care activities for children, sport programme for children with special needs and different inclusive events and festivals Play with me (Be an artist, Be a sportsman, Be a traveller ...) across Slovenija and abroad. One of the important projects is also a long-term voluntary project, as we are currently hosting three volunteers from abroad.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
- Likes to be active and appreciates sport in general or. comes from sport studies,
- Is eager, motivated and interested to work with people with special needs,
- Sees the volunteering year as an opportunity to grow personally and professionally, linking its theory with practice, - Has knowledge in Microsoft Office programmes and social media,
- Is empathic, communicative, has the ability to adapt to various circumstances, has the capacity to react and respond to unpredictable circumstances, likes to play and has social skills,
- Is realiable, responsible and flexible.

Tarefas: The volunteer will be part of the Association's many inclusive activities, aimed at improving the inclusion of persons with special needs, in our case intellectual disabilities, autism and associated dissabilities.

The main aim of the project where the selected volunteer will mostly work in, is the inclusion of persons by sport - via daily physical activities for children with disabilities, by so called inclusive active weekends for families and children with (and without) special needs, by taking part at inclusive festival Play with me (every May) and Be a Sportsman (every September), where sport workshops are their core parts.

Furthermore the volunteer will be part of active free time activities, companionship and inclusive holiday care for children with (and without) special needs (taking place during summer school holidays and autumn).
