Resumo: Our national non-governmental and non-profit organisation has been promoting peace and intercultural exchanges through international voluntary service projects since 1950.
Working with a large number of partners around the world (click here to see our partners' map), our work consists in :
- organizing voluntary projects in France so that volunteers from every corner of the globe can come and lend a hand to our local communities (if you are looking to volunteer on one of our projects in France, click here and contact our partner sending organization nearest to you !),
- giving French volunteers the opportunity to volunteer on our partners' projects : by enroling them on and preparing them for the projects,
- preparing and leading training sessions and seminars on many thematics (cultural diversity, environmental issues, human rights, etc...) based on informal and non-formal education methods.
The voluntary projects we offer in France are short term (International Workcamps) and mid/long term (EVS, Service Civique) - and no two projects are the same ! Helping out on one of our projects can mean protecting the environment, restoring a classified monument, promoting cultural or traditional heritage, plan activities for a youth community centre, supporting a local charity, etc...
The main objectives of Concordia are the following:
Education - helping young people to grow up by acquisition of collective life.
Culture - favouring the youth exchanges on an international level, always emphasizing the values of peace, friendship and mutual respect.
Social - taking part in concrete actions of solidarity, as well as supporting a civic attitude
Social economy - contributing to realisation of local development, in favour of the environment, patrimony, tourism and socio-educational animation.
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Speak good English and/or French or to be motivated to learn French; Ability to work and cooperate in a team Be flexible,autonomous and open to meet with new people, to think outside of the box Public speaking skills Be willing to develop a personal project Motivation to discover the associative world and all its activities
Tarefas: -Promote the possibilities of the European projects' mobility, within the scope of volunteering, to the youth of the region, in France and abroad
-Assist with delivering the needed information in the region via : Organizing meetings with the general public, communication through social media, developing and distributing the newsletter and proposing additional methods of communication
-Assist with the implementation of one or more international volunteering projects Assist with the promotion and the design of non-formal education and popular education tools through: communication, creation of supporting documents, tools and the facilitation of workshops
-Assist with the creation of trainings: including the preparation of popular education tools, assisting with the logistics and the schedule
-Assist with the development of partnerships: Following up with the external partners according to the training themes, as well as seeking new partnerships
