Resumo: The hosting organization in Luxembourg is an independent international solidarity association, member of the Handicap International network, which has been working for 35 years in situations of poverty and exclusion as well as conflicts and disasters.
Working alongside disabled and vulnerable people, Handicap International acts and testifies to meet their basic needs and improve their living conditions. Since its creation in 1982, the organization has set up development programs in more than 60 countries and is involved in many emergency situations. The organization is one of the six founding associations of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), co-winner of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize and winner of the 2011 Conrad N. Hilton Award. The organization acts and testifies wherever Standing up is not easy.
In Luxembourg, the organization's activities are concentrated in six main areas:
- Development Education and Awareness (EDS)
- Political advocacy
- Monitoring of field projects and technical support
- Fundraising
- Information and communication
- Animation of a community of charity workers
Perfil: Age: 18-30
You followed a higher education in communication and marketing with a dimension of project and event management
o You are comfortable with French and English, if you also speak Luxembourgish and German that is a plus!
o You have mastered the Office Pack to perfection (or almost)!
o Your good humor, your kindness and your smile are your assets
o You are inventive, creative and want to help increase awareness and fundraising for Handicap International's actions
o You have excellent interpersonal skills, a great sense of contact and you like team challenges
Tarefas: Contribute to the Mass Marketing action plan and the analysis of results o Assist in monitoring street and door-to-door collection actions
o Participate in the creation of fundraising materials (Mailings, E-mailings, brochures, ...)
o Collaborate in the regular updating of the database of our donors
o Project management for Relational Marketing
o Preparation and participation in events
o Design of prospecting, solicitation and loyalty documents
o Analysis and watch work on the philanthropy sector And concretely, you could achieve:
o An action plan around a project
o A retro planning with multiple entries to organize an event
o Prospecting and reflection to develop new means of collection
o Content writing for social networks
o Participate in project briefings
o Coordinate a fundraising project from A to Z
Condições: The volunteer lives together with other volunteers in a house in Eisenborn. Each volunteer has a comfortable single room. The accommodation is free available for the volunteer. The volunteer gets pocket money and a food allowance for means of subsistence. The amounts are fixed by law in Luxembourg. The public transport is free of charge in Luxembourg for all users.
