Resumo: Work in a youth club and making offers in the open youth work.

Perfil: The volunteers should be interested in the youth work field and have motivation to reach the children and young people. Due to the will of developing the exchange with youth from city partners.

Tarefas: The volunteers should get to know the offers of the Youth Care Centre and bring in themselves. The EVS in Kitzingen will have the opportunity in good functioning team to get to know the spectrum of the public and associational youth work in the city. The volunteer will receive further support of the team to develop the activities, plan them, implement them and reflect on them. In which field the activities will be, depends on the skills of the volunteer. The EVS is going to be integrated to the team of the official and unsalaried team. In the beginning of the EVS projects they should get to know all the possibilities and then decide in which field they would like to get involved. The opportunity of the networking of the young people in Europe should be in the next years developed and introduced to the youth in Kitzingen. The plan to increase the international measures as well as regular youth meetings from the partner communities. The future EVS volunteers can get involved here. The other fields of the volunteer's duties are to company the youth groups and the offers for young people in the public youth work. That can be sport, creative, art, games and health field. Furthermore they can organise travels and excursions. It is also possible to implement events and workshops for young people in frames of the Youth Care Centre. Adventure, experiential learning and playground activities provide both the learning field and the possibilty to design the activities.

Condições: The volunteers have in the EVS project safe working conditions. They are not only in the team of the project involved, but they obtain the continuous guidance. The volunteers through the coordinating organisation Jugendbildungsstätte Unterfranken, have the access to the EVS volunteers network, who are taken care by one mentor. She is responsible for taking care of the personal interests and their free time. The volunteers live together in a regular shared apartment, where they receive the safety and all the information. Through the regular meetings with the mentor from the coordinating organisation and other volunteers from the beginning of the EVS project all the crises will be as soon as possible recognized and promptly resolved.

Formação: The Youth Care has received the volunteer since 2005. The motivation was to introduce the children and youth to the European ideas and to broaden their horizons. Due to the personal restructuring the long-term hosting the volunteers was not possible for the Youth Care, although the EVS hosting project was very successful then. Due to the new personal team the Youth Care Center Kitzingen would like to become the hosting organisation again. To achieve possible sustainable success, it is instead of the stated reason one more ground, they would like to connect the youth field with the city partners in Europe. Through the volunteers from the partner communities the youth work in Kitzingen should be developed and the interests of the children and youth should be awakening. In addition the children and youth would get to know the possibilities for them to participate.
