Resumo: The hosting organization objective is to represent the interests ofsocial organizations, communities and private persons, to find alternative solutions of the economic and social problems as well as their application inconcrete cases. In co-operation with the business and public sector it tries tocreate and strengthen the dynamically developing NGO sector in the regiono, which can react to the challenges faced in Slovakia or in the European Union.
Main areas of activities:
- Operation of a non-profit center, that provides consultation and counseling services for NGOs in the region
- Co-ordinationof the non-profit platform´s activities in the region, managing a regional support mechanism
- Creation of partnerships between NGOs, public administration and entrepreneurs, networking NGOs, preparation of international partnerships
– Coordination of a European youth programs inthe region, facilitating participation of local young people in European youth programs (e.g. Erasmus+) providing consultation, preparation and professional assistance for participants, hosting volunteers of EVS since 2012.
- Operation of a regional news portal in Hungarian minority language withspecial focus on the regional best practice exchange, innovation, public lifeand events of Hungarian, Roma and other ethnical and national minorities promoting European values as tolerance, freedom and democracy. Portal also writes about events not directly connected with minorities but relevant in the region.

Perfil: Age: 18-29

Tarefas: The project has one main activity: Develop youth communities in the Gemer region and 7 sub-activities as following:

1. European conversation language club: Free informal language club held regularly. The aim of club is practicing English with native speakers, other foreigners living in these towns and local young people. These events use method of non-formal learning and have very goodimpact on language skills of the target groups.

2. Thematic days: These events are for cultural expression and free time. Our volunteers organize regularly thematic days for 10-15 participant about their home country, national holidays andcustoms and about European topics like participate democracy, freedom of speech, migration, multicultural society, diversity,
national and international issues and global warming. These events use methods of non-formal learning (peer teaching, games, group work) and help to recognize and meet European topics.

3. Public events: bigger events for public many times organized in cooperation with other organizations. These events are for mobilization of local people showing them new approaches of community building. These events use social media and professional marketing methods to reach asmuch people as possible. Topics of these events are international children's day, art, gastronomical festival, sensitization days for public about the disabled policy.

4. Work with children and adults: Local youth initiatives take care about socially disadvantaged children in a daycare form, they provide them free-time activities. Local children are involved in these activities which helps in integration process of marginalized groups.

5. Administration and management: Volunteers provide administration and management help for local youth communities, organisations and initiatives. They use the strong base of the hosting organisation and the know how provided by it. With this method they can streng then local youth communities and help them to manage their project more professional.

6. Propagation, organisation: Using the professional marketing methods the volunteers can help to local initiatives to spread their ideas, reach their target groups and increase the number of participants in their activities. the volunteers with their organisational skills help them to handle the growing audience. /evs facebook page and group, local news portal managed by the hosting organization /

7. Project cooperation, coworking: Volunteers actively participate in programs and projects run bythe Fundament NGO.

Condições: Economic condition: fee accommodation, travel costs support (max. of 275€/person), food money (5€/day), pocket money (5€/day), insurance cost.
