Resumo: Work in the Youth club and the child day nursery after school.

Perfil: The volunteers should be interested and motivated in youth and children work. If the volunteer is interested in arranging youth exchange with the partner cities.

Tarefas: The volunteers should get to know and get involved in the offer of the Youth Care. The EVS in Goldbach gives them the opportunity to get to know and become active in the youth work in the Markt community. They should get involved in the Youth Club (open from Monday till Friday 17:00 - 20:00) and in the Children Club (open on Fridays 14:00-17:00). In addition the volunteers should cooperate in the afternoon care in the secondary school, which is offered daily 13:00 - 16:30. The volunteer will get the support from the team to develop his/her own activity or offer - in concrete planning, implementing and reflecting. The areas of the offers depend on the skills and abilities of the volunteer. The volunteer will be actively involved in the team of full-time and unsalaried employees. They should in the beginning get to know the area, then they will be able to develop their own project and support the work of the youth workers. Special attention is put on the contact and exchange with youth from partner communities. International measures and youth exchange are taken under consideration in which the volunteer can become the main role.

Condições: The volunteers have in the project safe working conditions. They are not only involved in the project in one team, but they receive continous guidance. The mentor, who is not directly involved un the project, she is available to ensure the psycho-social care. Then there is also the Coordinating Organisation which is a network of the volunteers, who are all taken care by the mentor. She takes care about all the personal concerns of the volunteers. The volunteers from the beginning will be involved in the network of the volunteers in Würzburg, where they in the begining will experience the safety and information. Through regular meetings, from the beginning of the EVS, with the mentor from the Coordinating Organisation and other EVS volunteers, the crisis will be fast recognized and will be momentally handled, even though when the volunteer is not directly in Würzburg, but in Goldbach, which is around 70 km away.

Formação: The association would like to invite a volunteer, because there exist very intensive contacts with the partner community in France: Courseulles sur Mer and they would like to enhance the contacts in the youth area. The idea is to invite young people from this region, who will get involved in the youth work in Markt municipality. That should contribute to make young people interested in the work of the partner cities committees and to build and develop the contacts on a long-term. Not only there is the idea of partner cooperation, but also there is a big opportunity for young people to become more mobile in Europe. The volunteers should motivate the youth to get interested about other countries, in this case for example about partner cities. In addition they should also get motivated to travel over there or to invite young people from the partner cities. Next to the interest about partner cities, there should be raised a long-term interest about Europe, so that the young people see it as an opportunity to travel around Europe.
