Resumo: (Volunteering Teams in High Priority Areas - Assist the eldery)
INEX - Association for Voluntary Activities (aka INEX-SDA)INEX – Association for voluntary activities is a non-governmental not-for-profit organisation founded in 1991 to carry out and support international voluntary work and intercultural education. By organising international voluntary projects, educational programs and campaigns we aim at:

1. assisting the development of a tolerant and open society and 2. encouraging an active and responsible approach to the world around us both locally and globally.INEX-SDA Prague main activities include:1. Sending Czech volunteers abroad to short term international voluntary projects (called workcamps) and mid and long term voluntary projects (about 700 per year);

2. Hosting volunteers of our partner organisations from abroad (about 320) and the Czech Republic at 30 - 35 short term workcamps and long term voluntary projects organised in the Czech Republic;

3. Sending Czech volunteers to short and long term EVS projects abroad (about 25 people per year) and hosting 2 EVS volunteers in our office;

4. Preparing and running projects in the field of Global Education (GLEN, Football for Development, Project - Upgrade you and your surroundings);

5. Promotion of volunteering (at conferences, networks, publishing materials);

6. Organizing and hosting seminars and trainings related to the theme of volunteering and global education (training for workcamp leaders, training for trainers, evaluation meetings for volunteers, seminars on Global Education issues, preparatory seminars for volunteers to Global South countries);

7. Running Volunteer Club (DoK) which provides space for volunteers to put their idea into practice and create their own projects.In general our projects are open to all people interested to take part, even though certain requirements might be given by a partner or funder of specific program or project. Most of volunteers and participants in our projects are people between 18-26 years old but we are open to all age groups.NetworksINEX-SDA is member of Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations (Alliance) and Co-ordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS). Partner organisation of Service Civil International (SCI). Since 2006 works as a hosting and sending organisation within the frame of the program of European Voluntary Service. Since 2001 is a member of Czech Council of Children and Youth. Since 2002 is a member of Czech Forum of Development Co-operation (FoRS).

Perfil: Age: 18-30
This project is suitable for all empathetic, creative, and cheerful people who respect the elderly.
You can get a certificate confirming your voluntary service in the Center for Social Care and Nursing.

Tarefas: This projec takes place in the outskirts of Prague 15 and is organized in cooperation with the Centre for Social Care and Nursing which provides support and assistance to users of the service who have found themselves due to their age, health, chronic illness, or crisis in their personal life in a situation where they are dependent on the help of another person.
This workcamp aims to support intercultural and intergenerational exchange, gain mutual understanding, respect, and maybe even a new perspective on life. At this workcamp, you will actively contribute to the achievement of UN SDG 3 Good Health and Wellbeing and UN SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities. We need you to have a sending organisation, once you will be accepted, we will help you to find one in your country of residence.

Condições: In a nearby hostel (Na Šancích - Turínská 1494/1, 109 00 Praha 15), in rooms with beds and linen. Each room also has its own bathroom. You will have breakfast in the place of your accommodation, lunch, and dinner will be provided in the canteen of the nursing home (Janovská 486, 109 00 Praha 15-Horní Měcholupy).
