Resumo: The project aims at promoting volunteering as a tool for social development of the community and personal development of the person involved in the volunteering action. Every volunteer who is properly supported in his/her service undertakes a process of learning and personal improvement, that is as valuable as the change the he/she brings in society. Tarefas: By creating a documentary or some kind of video product, the volunteer would help SCI-Hellas in promoting volunteering in general and specifically in SCI Hellas. Our organization hosts European volunteers, as hosting and coordinating organization, organizes summer workcamps where people from all over the world participate in activities of cultural and social development, and is part of a network against poverty where voluntary actions take place. The video product would aim at documenting the learning process that volunteers undergo and the impact that their action has in the local community, by realizing interviews to volunteers, participants in workcamps, people from the local community, projects organizers etc. SCI-Hellas will offer all the logistic support that the volunteer needs, would contribute to write the script of the documentary together with the volunteer, supervise his/her work and be ready to help at any moment. Documentação: Candidates are required to send CV and motivation letter, where they explain which criteria they used to select EVS projects, why they chose this specific project and what they would like to learn/gain from the experience. Three members of SCI-Hellas will read the CVs and motivation letters and will answer to the volunteers within Monday 31st January.
