Resumo: The hosting organization is all about reaching out to rural youth. We are an NGO committed to non-formal learning, to culture and to participation opportunities. Our focus is to improve education levels and community engagement for the young people living in rural environment in Romania. We take our work very seriously, yet we do it in a relaxed, witty and humorous spirit. A youthful spirit.

Our main goal is to revitalise rural environment. In our view, change finds its most fertile ground in the ones most aptly equipped for change: YOUTH. Their energy and their desire to set a new way of doing things inspired us to provide for them an organisational framework capable of allowing them to implement this change for themselves and for the community they live in. We believe that our projects function as a pilot initiative addressing the issues of rural development, educational access and better opportunities for the ones who need change and a better life within the rural area.

Perfil: - aged 18-30 - motivation for international volunteering
- strong motivation to work and live in a rural area
- availability and motivation for a 10 moths mobility
- strong interest in learning a different European language
- motivation in developing new competencies and learning about community development
- having at least basic English communication skills, spoken and written
- having a drivers license for at least 3 years is a strong point
- motivation to learn about youthwork and work with young people and children in villages

Tarefas: It is a 10 months volunteering service in which 6 volunteers will get ready to bring nonformal learning and personal development opportunities to youngsters that cannot reach our youth centres due to high distances, lack of means of transport or economical obstacles.
This project takes the experience with th only mobile youth center one step further and builds on previous experiences in which the mobile youth centre went already around in the area, brought games, competitions, workshops, cinema nights to youngsters and children that did not even dream that they could do something like this, close to their homes.
After a period of training, the volunteers will plan and implement activities, by working in teams 3 people and going in the area around.

Condições: - reimbursement of travel costs up to 275 or 360 euro in the end of the stay
- accommodation in a house in our village together with the rest of the volunteers
- food allowance and pocket money
- local transport bus permits and car when needed for activities - complementary medical insurance
