Resumo: SVČ Déčko Náchod is a contributory organisation of the town providing non-formal education primarily for children and youth aged 0 - 18, adults as well as for other organizations and schools of our region. Our most important target group are children from primary schools. The leisure time centre is located in the centre of town Náchod in northeastern part of the Czech republic, right on the boarder with Poland. Náchod has 20 000 inhabitants and offers a wide range of possible activities - discovering nature, cultural sights and also a good cuisine.

Déčko Náchod offers non-formal education in almost 150 clubs as regular activities of the organization (e.g. street dance, arts and crafts, pottery, musical clubs, sport clubs, climbing, mother care centre, outdoor activities, foreign languages, animal care...) usually from 1 P.M. till 7 P.M. Management of these clubs is organized in several departments: dancing department, sport department, international department, art department called Ateliér, social sciences department, mother care centre and after school club.

Déčko also organizes events for public throughout the year (e.g. Carnival, Halloween, Burning Witches, Bambifest, Earth hour, Fair trade breakfast, sport events, ...). In summer we organize summer camps for children aged 3 - 12. There are 2 types of summer camps: day care camps (there is 1 - 2 day care camps for 1 week of summer holidays) and camps for 7 days in nature. In addition, Déčko prepares programmes for kindergartens and other occasional activities.

Déčko has an active role in strategic planning in the town of Náchod related to the field of youth and education. There is an intensive cooperation with local schools and other organizations involved in education. There are common ESC projects organized and SVČ Déčko supports these organizations in hosting international volunteers. Our local partner organizations in the ESC projects are: ZŠ TGM Náchod, Montessori mateřská škola a základní škola s.r.o. Náchod, ZŠ Česká Skalice, Dobrá Dědina z.s. Provodov - Šonov, DDM Domino Hronov, ZŠ Komenského Nové Město n. M. and ZŠ Náchod - Plhov. Cooperation with ZŠ a MŠ Dolní Radechová and DDM Rychnov nad Kněžnou may also continue in the future. These organizations have Quality Lables for hosting volunteers.
