Resumo: The hosting organization manages five homes and workshops during the day. The community welcomes 42 adults with mental disabilities (named core members »), 30 employees (named assistants) and 14 volunteers, who have made the choice to live and share fraternal relations within the community. The organization is an approved medico-social establishment and is largely state-funded.
There are 4 distinct, but inseparable dimensions in The organization: the Community dimension and mutual relationship, the dimension of service and competence, the spiritual dimension, and the dimension of outreach. These dimensions are present and fundamental to all community activities.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Volunteers participate in workshops.
They bring reassurance and a relational presence to the people with mental disabilities with whom they develop a mutual understanding.
They gradually undertake an increasing number of tasks, always under the responsibility and control of salaried employees:
- by helping people in the workshops (Cana Sucre, Espaces Verts, Artisanat, La Source).
- by contributing to the educative programme (participation, observation, reflection, respect, supporting the personal project of the people with learning disabilities.)
- by participating in the animation of the life of the workshop (meal together, household, activities, relaxation time)
- by participating in activities proposed to people with learning disabilities.

They must comply with all health and safety rules.
During their stay, volunteers receive training and are followed by a tutor.

Horário: You will have 2 days of rest per week (Saturday and Sunday), and each month of mission allows you to have 2 days of holyday, which you can take to have a vacation.
You will be supervised and accompanied by a team of employees from your workshop. Your mission supports the team.
You will have time during the week to have French courses and to implement a project you have chosen (showing initiative and creativity).
