Resumo: Our school is unusual; it has three streams: students who study in Russian, students who study in Estonian language and the immersion classes. Representatives of many nationalities study in our school, our children are both from the town and from the countryside. We have children from the families of immigrants. In spite of all these problems our school takes active part in different projects, and wins in regional and state competitions.

Our school has three main priorities:
1) to bring up active citizens;
2) to develop leadership capabilities among our students
3) to develop a harmonious and happy person. To achieve all these we use the classical methods of education as well as the extracurricular activities such as school theatre, studying trips, career lessons, etc.

Although the town is a small town, there are representatives of different nationalities with different social and cultural backgrounds. The idea of cultural diversity in a big community matches perfectly with our school profile of courage and anti-racism in the domain of which our students show many initiatives and have strong competences.

Our school is participating in internationals projects to share our experience in organising multi-cultural society and to let our students and teachers improve their language skills. We like to share our knowledge of history as we have a lot of historical places of different eras. We develop our students in tolerance, understanding of people of different cultures and religions and the meeting of young people with the social, every day life will help all participants of this project to reach this aim.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We expect volunteer who love children and have interest to work with them. We are also looking for friendly, open for communication and exchange of experience, hard-working young person with sense of initiative or wish to develop it. Moreover, volunteer should have the motivation to bring solidarity to his/her host organisation and to the local community. We are supportive to participants with fewer opportunities, such as cultural, economic difficulties and geographic obstacles. We welcome and be happy, if a potential candidate has special skills, interests or knowledge.

Tarefas: The volunteer will contribute to the organisation through the following tasks and activities:
- collaboration with teachers on educational and extracurricular basis, help teachers at classes in order to bring along more non-formal way)
- work on a blog reflecting school life (cooperation with info-specialist);
- working on personal project related with sustainability;
- conduct workshops
- work with groups of students in accordance with the hobbies and interests of volunteer;
- blogging, making photos and videos, making posters;
- preparing and holding personal workshop (subject depends on the interests and skills of the volunteer);
- English language club (organize conversational language clubs to practice oral language skills and to develop a strong interest to the language amongst students);
- preparing games and tasks for active breaks;
- preparing the community learning festival Everyone is learning;
- learning reflection: learning diary;

Condições: Volunteers will be accommodated in groups of 2-4 in rented and appropriately furnished flats. They will have a private or shared bedroom and a shared kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.
Food allowance will be given to the volunteers monthly. The volunteers will cook by themselves.
The city is not a big city, therefore the volunteers will walk to the placement. If a volunteer decide to use public transport for going to the HO, they will get monthly transportation money.
