Resumo: The hosting organization is a youth association established on 2012 in Italy by a group of young former trainees of the local Europe Direct Centre. The association's main goal is to support and promote the European citizenship and the international cooperation. The association is thought as a place where young people can share their ideas and opinions.

The Association promotes the personal development of young people and of all Neapolitan area and its surroundings through informal/non-formal education. In fact, the association's activities have made a contribution in creating a positive idea of European Union and international cooperation among young people in Napoli. The Organization has become an equal partner in decision making in relation to the active citizenship and European Union topics. For these reasons the Organization is performing the following activities:

- To provide young people with information about mobility opportunities ;
- To organise language workshops to encourage multilingualism among young people;
- To raise the quality of life of young people through organized seminars and conferences with Universities and high schools;
- To motivate young people to become active citizenship through informal/non-formal activities;
- To promote the reading and the socialisation among young people co-managing public libraries with other associations and stakeholders
- To provide support to Institutions, associations and other relevant stakeholders with the project's design and the preparation of all necessary documentation for applying to national and European programs.

Perfil: Age. 18-30

Tarefas: The project is aiming to enable young people volunteering through European Solidarity Corps program and provide them with a unique opportunity for non-formal/informal learning that enhance the professional skills and competences of participants in order to become more interesting to potential employers. The activities will provide opportunities for the young volunteers to gain experience working in a team, learn to solve tasks with whom they are faced during their volunteering experience using different methods, to extend their knowledge about relevant issues regarding useful spending of leisure time of young people, improve their language skills and that on the completion of their period of project to become an example of good practice in their communities and encourage others to actively volunteering.

The general framework of the volunteers engagement will be to promote the quality leisure time of young people spreading the values of the EU though events and initiatives. The volunteers will support our team in organising activities for our offices: the Youth Centre Common Gallery, the Europe Direct Information Centre and the public library.

However, the volunteers will support our staff in the management of the info- desk providing young people with information about international mobility opportunities. For this reason, they will also be involved in the organisation of informative events cooperating with the local educational Institutions (high schools and the college in the town and surrounded area). The volunteers will also support the association in the creation of youth- friendly online content (both in our social media channels and website) and they can work on their own personal project.
