Resumo: The Morena Association is a nongovernmental organization established in 2002 in the Gdańsk area.
For years, the association has provided support to young people and youth leaders by encouraging their creativity, helping build respect between different cultures and also through training.
We aim to increase activism in social and civic life of children, youth and youth leaders by providing activities such as :

Neighborhood House : We provide activities and space to meet for locals. Language and cooking clubs, artistic workshops, sports lessons and integrational events for the local community are some of the activities we have conducted in the Neighborhood House.

Promotion of Youth Information: We hold consultations for young people who are looking for information connected with volunteering or european funds, EU, about history, current situation, integration, opportunities in education, work and selfdevelopment areas. We also organize ndiscussions, debates and presentations for youth and local community.

School visits: We visit local schools to develop more activities with children, make presentations and show other cultures and lifestyles.

Perfil: -Between 18 to 30 years old;
- Able to learn how to work in international environment;
-Willing to learn Polish or improve English skills;
-Take initiative to prepare their own activities;
-Dynamic, creative, responsible and patient;
- Have interesting hobbies and be willing to share them;
- Experience in working for the local community and young people are welcome. Project is dedicated to young poeple with fewer opportunities (geographical, economic, social obstacles and educational difficulties).

Tarefas: 1. European lessons and presentations in schools using non- formal education (topic: youth policy, solidarity, EU projects, volunteer's country and culture)
2. Workshops about youth active participation, youths life and youth policy in Poland and abroad)
3. Debates for youngsters (practising critical thinking and communication skills)
4. Open meetings for local youngsters (interculturality, stereotypes, personal development)
5. Making own workshops in our local centre (depends of interests/hobbies of volunteer)
