Resumo: The community is hosting an international project. On the program, meet different cultures, discover rural France and its inhabitants, work and live together. The work will focus on the maintenance of the Banks, a large emblematic French river, known for its magnificent beaches, swimming, large cliffs and its natural appearance. It is also a river steeped in history, along which many prehistoric sites have been brought to light.

With the advice of professional technicians and volunteers from the departmental fishing federation, the river union, the local fishing club and municipal technicians, you will maintain the banks to bring out the beauty of the landscapes and allow you to venture there.

Maintaining river banks is also necessary to promote a good balance of flora and fauna in wetlands. Intervention with manual tools is preferred: secateurs, saws, branch cutters ... in order to preserve this fragile environment.

All these different local actors will open the door for you to participate in multiple ways in local life: meals, events, local associations ... You will discover the sense of welcoming the population and the charm of the landscapes and heritage, by organizing with the other volunteers and the animators your program of activities.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Maintenance of the banks: uprooting of invasive plants, reinforcement of banks, collection of rubbish, removing branches and trunks (in particular arrived during winter floods).

Condições: You will be welcomed at the municipal campsite, very comfortable! Sleeping in tents, camp bed provided. A covered dining area is reserved for you, with a kitchen where you can take turns preparing good meals.
