Resumo: Reconstructing the old village oven in a mountain hamlet so that soon, the inhabitants can get together around baking bread ..., it's a bit of a dream, isn't it? So join us to carry out this daring venture!

From 2017 to 2019, we worked with the international workcamps, in partnership with the association of the same name which runs the music festival. Last year, the partnership with the municipality focused on restoring the banal oven located in the hamlet.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The village oven is located in the heart of the hamlet, and it is under the moved gazes of the inhabitants that we worked to consolidate the weakened walls of this modest building in 2020, after it was freed from the brambles, nettles and shrubs that invaded it.
In 2021, we plan to continue consolidation and reconstruction work with the help of a specialized technical leader and under the guidance of a heritage architect. This will include rebuilding the masonry lintel that surmounts the front door, and supporting the masonry with formwork. At the same time, we will make the header of the fireplace in order to properly surround the keystone to the right of the fireplace.

Condições: We will sleep under tents on thecamping. On the campsite, we’ll have a peaceful stay in a mountainous setting with exceptional greenery. We’ll have accès to amenities like sanitary facilities, a barbecue, a bocce ball court, and WIFI at times. We will install a large kitchen tent in order to make our meals. We’ll take turns cooking, that way
we’ll be able to taste a number of different specialties ! Here, we pay attention to what we eat, and to reduce our impact on the planet, we try to eat a maximum of local products and we limit eating meat to twice a week. Community life will be organised together: organization of menus, grocery shopping, activites, etc.
