Resumo: The hosting organization is an NGO with social purpose based in Italy. It operates since 2006 andworks with children and young people, involvingthem in educational activities. We work with thegoal of spreading the principles of democracy and citizenship among young people through personal growth activities e active participation in the life ofthe community; research on the current situation ofyoung people who are approaching for the first time the work environment, including different cultures; assisting vulnerable communities and promoting European citizenship.

We are local representative sof many ethnic groups in our area and this allows us, through organised activities, to break down prejudices and facilitate the integration of citizens, starting from childhood. In addition, we are active inthe social field, for example by creating recreational spaces for young people using theatre, music, art and sport and offering educational assistance toprojects in schools, especially dedicated todisadvantaged groups.
We have participated in various Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges and Training Courses both abroad as partner association and in Italy as a host association.

We are also accredited as a sending and hosting association for European Solidarity Corps projects. We are the lead association for the local radio group ANG in Radio, an initiative promotedby the Italian National Agency, which fostersparticipation, solidarity and inclusion; promotes European youth mobility opportunities and other activities of the NA.

We organise various activities such as seminars,conferences, courses, workshops, which involve different realities of the society and we cooperate with numerous institutions, including schools, local NGOs and regional or national entities such as UNICEF Italy; PIPIDA national institution; theVeneto region office for the protection of minors; MIUR Ministry of Education; Venetian Diocesanoffice for school; the Human Rights Department of the university of Padua; UNESCO Chair of IUAV of Venice; the Italian Guarant Authority for ChildhoodRights.

Perfil: Age between
18 and 30 years old;
The volunteer must be enrolled into the European Youth Portal (European SolidarityCorps);
Availability of 12 months;
A basic/medium level of knowledge of the Italian language (A2-B1) and willingness tolearn!
Language skills will be crucial to execute the different volunteering tasks and thecollaboration between the two volunteers. Inparticular, the ability to communicate in Italian,even if not perfectly, is a necessary requirementto interact with the people who will be helped.
Please consider this while applying for theproject.
Predisposition to interpersonal relations, open-minded approach and willingness to learn. Thereare no specific qualification or degreerequirements but the willingness to operatewithin the social sector and to support childrenand young people in extra-curricular activities.There is going to be a lot of space for ideas andcreativity. Skills in the management of socialmedia, video making and photography areappreciated.

Tarefas: The main activity is youth animation and after school support (with children from 6 to 13 yearsold), which will take place mainly with in the local youth centre;

Other activities involve:
- Promoting the initiatives offered by theEuropean programmes and the Italian National Agency;
- Promoting, inside the community for children and youngsters, a sense of solidarity, inclusion, multiculturalism, integration, active citizenship and youth participation;
- Planning and running seminars and workshops, sport and art activities for young people;
- Running language clubs (English and others according to the volunteers’ mother tongue);
- Collaborating with the local web radio by producing podcasts and interviews;
- Promoting European values and youth opportunities through local and national projects;
- Creation/organisation of Erasmus+ (youthexchanges, training courses), ESC projects and support to the coordinative team during the ongoing projects;
- Simple office work to support the organization;
- Handling the association digitals platforms and social media.

It is not obligatory for the volunteers to take part inall the activities, as in the first months they will be able to try and choose which ones are more suitable for them and accordingly to those a schedule will beset.
