Resumo: At Bournemouth YMCA our heart is to help and support people of all ages, origins and faiths, especially those who are young and who are needy or vulnerable in some way. Our desire is to see lives changed in line with our mission statement:
Bournemouth YMCA, whilst respecting individual choice and needs, exists to provide opportunities for lives to change in an atmosphere of Christian love and care
It is a purpose that works its way out across all areas of our work that takes in housing, youth work, children's work, health & fitness and media.

We have a variety of youth projects working with 11 to 19 year olds in Bournemouth and activities are youth-led. Individual projects depend on funding, and we have expertise in disability, volunteering, citizenship and BME. Some issues we tackle are: racism, citizenship, bullying, global youth work and self-esteem.
