Resumo: (Taking care of the horses)
The hosting organization is a non-profit association aimed at recovering horses that have been abandoned, violated or destined for slaughter. The association recovers horses in critical situations and brings them back to a natural state, free to live in herds and with the right attitude to work with man. Within the organization, we look for a green and sustainable way of working with nature through our organic vegetable garden, the search for medicinal herbs, the work with farm animals and meditation practices.

Their final goal is to create a community based on mutual and fundamental respect and respect for everything around us. We have a riding school that essentially fills our working days but also spaces where children and young people can discover the aspects of rural life in contact with nature and respecting of natural and non-human times. The association also organizes cultural events, music and craft workshops, but also fundraising events to finance specific projects and the expansion and renovation of our facilities.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
• adaptable and motivated to live in a rural area on a family farm
• good social and communication skills
• not afraid of getting their hands dirty
• flexible and willing to learn
• loving animals and nature
• experience with horses is welcome but not a requirement
• experience in education is welcome but not a requirement

Tarefas: • Taking care of the organic garden
• Taking care of the horses (cleaning the stables, grooming, creating a relationship with them)
• Cooking meals with local produce
• Forest conservation (cleaning the place, planting new trees)
• Helping during the crafts, music, theatre and circus workshops
• Helping during horse riding lessons
• Welcoming guests

Condições: The organization will provide accomodation in an independent space for the volunteers inside their Bed and Breakfast, with as hared room and bathroom. A pocket money of 5 euros per month will be provided. Meals will be shared with the staff during the activities, and the volunteers will be given money for food during free days. The travel expenses willbe reimbursed on the basis defined by the European Commission.
