Resumo: (cultural events)
The Association is a professional organization since 2004 with the aim of assist, develop and promote in France and abroad activities related to the domains of culture, arts, press, and general actions in communication and expression.
The objective is to develop and promote music from Aude in rural areas; create a space for multi-generational meeting about culture; and allow access to quality shows for rural population. The association encourages meetings between different social classes, different generations and different cultural backgrounds and thus participates in the development of good relations between people of the same territory to foster a true living together.
The main objectives of the association are to develop current music and to promote the eco-citizen values brought by the association, in the department of Aude by all possible means. To develop, a professional working tool serving the territory, audiences, cultural actors and citizens, artists, to foster a real life together where current music becomes a tool for sharing and popular education of general interest …
Perfil: We are looking for 3 long term volunteers to join our team, for 3 different profiles, who defend the same eco-citizen values as the association.
We are looking for participants with three different profiles:
1. Communication and Social Media. Someone who will be able to:
Animate social networks
Create and manage a ESC volunteers section in our website
Computer design and infography
Participate in actions, workshops, artists tours and concerts in order to
ensure live monitoring
2. Cultural Mediation. Someone who will be able to:
Participate in the production of actions
Participate in filling in financial files
Participate in the association cultural workshops, concerts…
Participate in the creation of a link between artists, the public and partners
Animate workshops and meetings
3. Support in event organization. Someone who will be able to:
Support in communication on social networks
Participate in production of recycled decor workshops
Participate in the Programming Committee
Participate in the management of the technical material
Tarefas: During the volunteering period,participants will help in commontasks:
- work along the staff in events organization (help to make thecatering, set and clean the concert area, support in the - ticket counter and in the bar…)
- Participate in daily life tasks(cleaning the common area and cooking)
- Share their experiences as volunteers
- Participate in bringing a positive atmosphere
- Write weekly feedbacks
- Participate in the arrival and mid-term trainings
- Develop their personal projects
Volunteers contribute to the atmosphere in the work area, so solidarity, tolerance, respect and communication are the principal values that they would share. Volunteers will also have a supporting role. Their help in the daily management, development and evolution of the organization’s activities will be very important.
Condições: Volunteers will share a room in the office of the association. The office is located in the city center of Carcassonne, close to the train station. There are plenty of shops, cafés, bars, a pharmacy and a post-office near the apartment.
The association will provide food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lunch time will be the perfect occasion to share information with the team and talk about everything and about nothing. But if they want, volunteers can also eat in one of the restaurants or cafés in the city-center at their expenses.
The association will provide volunteers for a car touse it professionally during the week. Volunteers may have the possibility of borrowing it during weekends.(Previous agreement with the team and at volunteers’ expenses).
