Resumo: The hosting organization is an association working for the integration and social inclusion of migrants and refugees in local host communities by offering non-formal education, sports and leisure activities, and various forms of legal and social assistance. The organization promotes the inclusion and empowerment of migrants and refugees by engaging both host country nationals and third country nationals in our activities. The organization has set up four non-formal schools in refugee camps and urban areas during the last four years, and currently manages four spaces in the town of Polikastro where we provide services including educational early child development, language learning, sports and recreational activities, psychosocial support, legal and asylum support, and health assistance to the refugee community.

Perfil: Good level of English.
Young volunteer (22-30 years old)
Experience in making/editing videos, photography, social media (applies only for applications for the communications team).
Being easy-going and loving an intercultural environment.
Being motivated, sociable, proactive, open-minded, tolerant, creative, and self-reliant.
Someone who has no problems with sharing an apartment/bedroom with other volunteers.

Tarefas: The hosting organization is looking for volunteers for the following positions(volunteers can apply for more than one positions):

Communications and Social Media manager: The person that will participate in this position will work on our social media pages including Instagram and Facebook, will take pictures and videos and will work on fundraising campaigns as well as actions for the promotion of our initiatives.

English Teacher for kids, youth or adults: The volunteer that will engage to this position will be teaching English to different age groups of refugees and asylum seekers, Greece.

Kindergarten : Volunteers in this position will work with minors of a really young age organising and implementing recreational activities around art and storytelling.

Women space: The position is for a female candidate as it involves organising and implementing activities for women.

Administration Tasks and Evaluation: This position is targeting to involve a youngster that has thirst to learn how an organisation functions from the inside. The tasks involve taking minutes, evaluation process of our activities, reporting and other administrative tasks. Good level of English is required.

Condições: Travel costs (up to the limits established in the Erasmus+ Guide distance calculator).
Accommodation: you will share a flat with other volunteers. It will be fully equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, etc.). It is important to be ready to share your bedroom with other volunteers of the same sex/gender.
Monthly food + pocket money (270€ approx.).
Insurance (CIGNA).
Language courses (classroom or online).
