Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-denominational organization that promotes social purposes and solidarity.
It was established in 2015 to help make concrete improvements within local communities by boosting a greater awareness of the European dimension.

The hosting organization carries out activities in the field of education, training and intercultural dialogue: its work has always been based on active participation and involvement of people, non-formal and informal education and cross-sectorial multidisciplinary approach.

Over the years, while maintaining a particular focus on young people and youth leaders, the hosting organization has developed significant skills and expertise in the area of project cycle management, distinguishing itself for the qualitative high-level of its activities (independently and/or in partnership): projects under the Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programs, seminars, workshops and voluntary work.

In a larger strategic framework at local and international level, the hosting organization proposes itself not only as a privileged observatory on present-day society’s needs, but also as a proactive player in the necessary process of European integration.

Perfil: Age: 19-25

Tarefas: The project want to manly affect the worrying phenomenon of academic failure, trying to intercept those factors/patterns that improving the youngsters’ learning capabilities in educational agencies involved. Furthermore, several actions about community development and social inclusion will be implemented throughout the Naples metropolitan area.

According to the goals of the European Solidarity Corps programme, volunteers will be the main protagonists of a gradual and organic path from the personal development to the active citizenship, through the local communities: starting from some important aspects of the identity construction, there will be the conditions for introducing paths in order to approach, in a positive way, the diversity and overcome prejudices, stereotypes, mistrust and racism.

Moreover, in the short term, the project aims to make the local communities’ youngsters interpret of behavior patterns based on solidarity and co-responsibility. Instead, medium-long term goals are:
- improving the dialogue between young people and educational agencies (formal and non-formal) with the local community;
- developing consciousness and sense of responsibility, especially among young people with fewer opportunities, in order to ensure a more active and mature participation in society;
- trying new approaches for matching civic engagement and experiential learning;
- implementing the capability of the socio-educational animation so that young people will be encouraged to get involved in volunteering and to be part of a positive social change in their communities;
- creating a more modern and dynamic working environment, by integrating the good practice and developing new working methods in the daily activities;
- spreading the EU values improving the promotion of programs and activities of international mobility.

Activities, based upon the principle of the participatory planning, will offer to young people (but not only to them) the chance to recognize and to be able to manage their own skills, emotions and conduct.
At the same time, volunteers will support everyday work in the host organization that concerns the implementation of training courses, volunteering actions and information sessions (for example, about Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs) for the local population, as well as about the partnerships management.

All planned activities will be carried out according to the CoViD-19 latest regulations and directives. Which is part of the reason that activities may be subject to changes (even during the mobility).

Horário: Free weekends and 2 days off a month (that can be accumulated).

Condições:  The apartment is equipped with all essential comforts.
Please note: the apartment will be shared with other international volunteers, so it may be need to arrange double rooms
 Travel costs: reimbursed up to 275€.
 Pocket money: 150€/month.
 Accommodation costs: fully covered.
 Food costs: 80€/month.
 Main local public transportation costs: 7 months fully covered.
 Health insurance costs: fully covered.
 Italian language lessons: fully covered (10hours/month);
