Resumo: (environment)
The hosting organization is a social cooperative enterprise with the purpose of exploring sustainable and innovative ways to provide spaces, knowledge and support to artists, social actors and social initiatives in order to magnify their potential.

Greece since the beginning of the economic crisis has seen a rising number of initiatives and individual social actors forming groups relating to sustainability, non-formal education and social aspects in close networking with their European counterparts.

Being part of this movement an informal group of travellers, a cross-disciplinary learning journey through southern Europe’s sustainable projects. During this experience we witnessed ways to collaborate and develop together, as we visited communities and co-working spaces as well as discovering our lack of physical spaces for hosting artists, activists, seminars and relevant workshops in our local reality, especially in Athens.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Our philosophy is based on the following 7Rs of Sustainability: Rethink-Refuse-Reduce-Repair-Repurpose-Reuse-Regenerate We welcome ** people patient, kind, polite, tolerant, able to listen actively and willing to work in a team. ** Respectful of simple rules on co-working, co-living environment, alcohol/drugs restrictions. ** Motivated towards: -Participating in the enterprise’s meetings to co-create the program activities -Using Agile Board -Co-creating an urban garden -Community hosting -Research on sustainability, aiming to bring to practice &to share into networks *English plz

Tarefas: The project is focusing on designing in an urban environment sustainable solutions and implementing innovative techniques, so the participants can gain experience, evolve skills and generalize their know-how for personal and local development. The facilitators with the help of volunteers will co-design an Urban Garden, implement innovative practices for energy efficiency and less consumptions and get into alternatives for everyday living.
All together we will learn how to cooperate and manage our working-living space and take care of it for us and the rest we will host.
By participating in nature excursions we will meet other collectives who attempt sustainable practices into a variety of community styles and advance our connection to species, hiking adventure and autonomous living.

Condições: The house is equipped with all necessities, common spaces, co-working spaces, a meeting room, kitchen and a beautiful garden. The location is accessible by metro, 20' from the centre and suburban railway 30' from the airport. Showers, washing cloth & washing dish machines are available for common use and available in a sensible use. Daily nutritional needs will be mainly met by a vegetarian diet. The common spaces are shared between the members, other creative persons that use the working areas, occasional visitors and potential workshops.
