Resumo: (ecology)
The hosting organization is a non-profit organization, which was founded in order to concentrate on education for sustainable development using many different environmental education programs and projects. Simultaneously, the organization is the provider of the group- and education-house. In addition to that, we’re working closely with an ecologically working farm. We do our programs with around 3500 children, youngsters and adults per year.

We want to give our visitors (totally different classes of age) an impression of ecological agriculture, of food and its value and of nature and environment protection. By treating these issues within the group and by living together on the farm, social competences are also supported and advanced in the time at the organization. In our 3-hour-programs like From milk to cheese or From grain to bread, the forest program and many more the children and youngsters learn essential things about farming, food and environment, always combined with practical action such as baking bread, making cheese, working in the cow shed and many other things.In our diverse team of educational workers, housekeepers, farmworkers and volunteers we always have the appropriate know-how and support for our participants in the programs.

In addition to our daily programs we have some special projects for national and international youth groups, too. Working with our local partners, we've done several building projects. In these projects our very young German guests had the chance to experience the building process of a wooden stage in the forest, of a big chicken house and of a path for teaching children about different hedges, trees and bushes.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: As this place is alovely biological farm area, We have lots of cows and we shows people, generally children, what we are doing in our farm. The volunteer is expected to work in farm with us. Would you like to be a volunteer in Seiml-Hof while learning more about sustainability, agriculture and how a farm works.
