Resumo: The main objective of the project is to promote environmental education as well as to encourage rural development, through the activities that will be developed in the different organisations and through the activities focused on sustainable development and environmental protection issues.
In particular, in the Association, volunteers will contribute to disseminating good practices of social entrepreneurship and a healthy lifestyle in contact with nature, and with respect for local traditions.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
• interested in the topic of the volunteering project;
• with skills and/or interest in communication and new media
• with at least a basic knowledge of Spanish;
• flexible and with sense of adaptability;
• possession of a driving licence is appreciated but not essential.

Tarefas: The main activities in which the volunteers will be involved are the following:
• assistance in the design and planning of activities for those who live and work in the rural environment;
• support in the facilitation of laboratories and training courses for children and adults dedicated to environmental protection;
• organization and implementation of workshops on environmental education, creative recycling, etc.;
• development of cultural activities based in traditional culture, folklore and crafts and trades connected to the rural environment;
• implementation of cultural exchange activities to promote active citizenship and the development of innovative activities in relation to the objectives of the association.
• dissemination of the activities of the association (use of social networks, writing articles, creating posters for local events and promotional activities, etc.).

Condições: Everything is covered by the European Solidarity Corps program. There is a reimbursement of travel expenses up to a maximum limit set by the European Commission. Food, accommodation, language courses, training, mentoring, monthly pocket money and insurance are covered by the host/supporting organisation.
