Resumo: The main objective of the proejct is to promote environmental education as well as to encourage rural development, through the activities that will be developed in the different organisations and through the activities focused on sustainable development and environmental protection issues.
In particular, in the Association, the volunteers will participate in the activities in direct contact with nature, in the ecological garden and will collaborate in training and dissemination activities, with the aim of counteracting the loss of interest in the ecology and giving a way of understanding that a Healthy lifestyle is possible.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
• interested in the topic of the volunteering project;
• with at least a basic knowledge of Spanish;
• flexible and with sense of adaptability;
• possession of a driving licence is appreciated but not essential.

Tarefas: The main tasks of the European volunteers will be:
• assistance in the design and planning of activities on horticultural therapy, which are developed with people with autism and people with brain damage;
• assistance in the preparation and development of teaching laboratories aimed at primary school students;
• planning and implementation of educational workshops proposed by the volunteers themselves;
• assistance in the care and maintenance activities of the organic garden and corral;
• assistance and support in the activities of school gardens and outreach workshops;
• dissemination of the activities of the association (use of social networks, writing articles, creating posters for local events and promotional activities, etc.).

Condições: Everything is covered by the European Solidarity Corps program. There is a reimbursement of travel expenses up to a maximum limit set by the European Commission. Food, accommodation, language courses, training, mentoring, monthly pocket money and insurance are covered by the host/supporting organisation.
