The youth centre in the government building of the beautifully green city district. The youth centre takes up part of the hallway on the first floor along with two adjoined rooms. The two medium-sized rooms have big windows, which let the sunlight We call the rooms Open Youthother one we call the kitchen room, but it really is for all activities that need either a table or a bit of peace and quiet.

The kitchen room is dominated by big tables in the middle of the room, perfect for crafting or cooking class and it also has a kitchen aisle where you can cook your lunch.
The open youth work room is for playing and chilling. In this room youngsters can play PlayStation 4 as well as table tennis, football and board games. It also has three computers and an Estonian game. For everything we keep out of the reach of our clients, we have a little storage room.

There is also an area in the cellar designated for the ceramics and silk painting classes.
We offer different workshops – ceramics, silk painting, arts and crafts, cooking and dancing classes. Our focus is involving young people and offering activities that they need and want.

During the school vacations there is often a program for the kids planned e.g. an environment week, a week dedicated to pets etc. When it gets warm in summer, the youth centre will take field trips to the forest or the bog or do
other cool activities outside. We organize camps e.g. a camp dedicated to cooking or to habit of working. In addition, events with the neighbouring youth center are organized regularly. Most of our clients are between 8
and 14 years – they embody unstoppable energy that needs your attention.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The main activity is to communicate/talk/play with our youngsters on a daily basis. Also helping with hobby activities and organizing workshops, culture evening and other activities is important.
Each year we have a few special priorities we try to keep in mind e.g. digital youth work, environment etc. We do that by organizing hobby classes, camps, school breaks. Also by helping young people organizing something themselves: an event to their peers, hobby class or a project even.
When it is warm and nice weather, we also have outdoor activities such as hiking, beach days, outdoor youth center etc.
