Resumo: (collaboration with youth NGO’s, cultural evenings, e-sport)
The hosting organization has already established itself as one active and inspiring youth centres in the city with lots of activities and good quality of youth work. But what makes it so special? The entrepreneurial attitude, the perfect location and the presence of other youth organizations, which contribute in creating a huge and creative international team.

The youth centre is a factory of ideas, and our youth workers are always ready to support youth ideas or propose the youth lots of interesting activities and workshops with the aim of inspiring them in their life and their future. Also, thanks to the good relationship with the neighboring schools, many youngsters usually come and spend their time at to the youth center. Due to the location, the Youth Centre has the opportunity to participate in numerous urban events, thus increasing its visibility.

Finally, this youth center hosts several non-profit youth organizations, which contribute in making the working environment particularly challenging and stimulating, and are a very good source of cooperation (especially as far as the activities of the volunteer are concerned).

Working in the open youth center area, playing with youngsters (any kind of game that the youth center offers), helping with their homework, being friendly and supporting them.
Organizing Cultural Evenings, events consisting in the presentation of the highlights of a specific country.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will actively participate in the process (finding a foreign guest, promoting the event on social networks, cooking with the guest and coordinating the event) and will make sure that everybody is having a nice time in a friendly environment with no barriers. Non-formal activities to expand youth horizons inspire them, develop their active participation and initiative (for example, cooking classes, language courses, workshops and so on).

We also pay attention to the E-sport that becomes more and more popular among our youngsters. It could be nice if a volunteer is keen on videogames so that he can help organizing the events or participate in cyber sport competitions with other volunteers as well.
We are not indifferent to the topic of mental health, in our youth center various events are held, including language cafes, where youngsters can participate in debates in English and express their opinion. We would be glad if the volunteer is interested in the topic of mental health or psychology as well and can lead their own workshops, sharing his knowledge with teens.
The volunteer can ask youngsters what they would like to do/learn; search for inspiration from his/her personal background; ask for his/her colleagues’ help in developing new activities. Anything that can coincide with the youngsters’ interests is welcomed! It could be also good if a volunteer is interested in an
active lifestyle and can organize any kinds of activities based on sport due to its popularityamong the youngsters.

Basically, the volunteer will also help colleagues in their own projects, will be involved in various interesting activities and urban camps, will be supportive to his/her working team as well as being supported by his/her team
