Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit youth association in Saxony/Germany. We coordinate to host and to send volunteers with our network. The key aspects are:
• socially oriented and open child and youth work as a state-approved independent institution of youth
• Christian missionary work as an institution of the Protestant Church
• Transboundary co-operation in the European region Neiße and world service work with partners in Middle and East Europe, as well as in Israel
•The guidelines of the organization say: the work of the organization is integral. It perceives Man as a unity of spirit, soul and body, in his relationship with himself, with other people, and with God. This takes place in various forms of youth work, youth education work and youth social work.
•To the main tasks of the organization state organisation belong:
• sports, music, educational work
• It organises retreats, youth weeks, meetings, youth days, and co-worker trainings
•the state organisation supervises and advises individual associations and also the local groups

Perfil: Age: 18-30
A responsible person, interested in playing with children aged 6-11 years in- and outside, open for our Christian profile, able to work independently and to build relationship with children, good in teamwork. German language skills.

Tarefas: The daily routine begins with taking care of the children during lunch-time, after that, there are several projects in the afternoon: free and guided play, Doing Homework, project work about celebrations, nature and environmental awareness, Christian offers: telling bible stories, singing and praying, keeping devotions. The tasks of the volunteer are: to play with the children in the house and in the garden, to care for the children during lunch and while doing homework, to start new activities for the children e.g. music, arts, sport games, newspaper, circus…

Condições: The volunteer will live together with other ESC volunteers in a shared flat in the immediate project vicinity. Lunch is provided in the school. For the other meals, the volunteers will get money for food. Through short distances in the city, the volunteers get a bicycle.
