Resumo: After-school care institution for children

Perfil: We are looking for an English speaking person who finds it inspiring and giving to be around children and who might wish to work with children in the future. We are very tolerant as workplace and value diversity both among our children and in the group of staff.
Since working with children in Denmark requires a police clearance the volunteer will be asked to bring one.

Tarefas: The volunteer will be expected to take part in our daily life and the existing activities and traditions of the institution, but he/she will also have the opportunity to contribute with new projects and activities. We would also like the volunteer to share his/her country's traditions with the children and thus give them an insight in another culture.
The activities will be ajusted according to the volunteer's wishes and interests when he/she arrives.

Horário: The volunteer will work 35 hours per week, the working hours will be in the afternoon. The volunteers will be given holidays and days off according to Danish and EVS rules.

Condições: The association complies with Danish safety regulations. The work in the institution does not involve any special risks.

Formação: The volunteer will get a general insight into the education/ learning theories of a typical Danish institution and school. Furthermore he/she will get specific knowledge of educational activities such as sports, outdoor activities, art and creative activities e.t.c.
