Resumo: The Social Cooperative manages many interventions in favour of children and youngsters in various fields: information, education, social inclusion and active participation. It manages Youth Information Centres that work in the field of youth information and youngsters involvement in active citizenship.
It deals in particular with counselling on education, training and job, mobility abroad and youth participation in the activities.
Since 2001 the Youth Information Office has been part of the Eurodesk network.

Perfil: ● age between 18-30 years old
● interested in youth issues
● willing to get involved in communicating with young people
● team spirit
● responsible, creative, curious, open-minded
● good competences in using computer, internet, social networks

Tarefas: The activities of the volunteer will mainly be in the Youth Centre, but he/she will be involved also in activities of the other centres. He/she will be involved in the following activities:
● Work with young people, public relation - front office
● Work with students in high schools (meetings, infodesk during schooltime...) giving basic information about EVS and other opportunities (job, voluntarism, youth participation, etc.)
● Events organization
● Improvement of participation and active citizenship projects
● Updating of databases and statistics instruments
● Supporting in the carrying out of european project

Beside this, volunteer, in cooperation with the other EVS volunteers, will be involved in additional activities and their tasks will be:
● to take part in the language conversation group with local young people and citizens
● to participate in the meetings on the topic of the abroad mobility
● to open and keep a blog about EVS

Condições: The volunteer will live in 1 apartment with another volunteer (same gender) in the own center. The apartment has 1 double bedroom, with shared cooking and living room and bathroom. The house is equipped with all utilities. All administrative costs (electricity, water, renting costs, etc) will be paid by the Hosting Organization
