Resumo: The the hosting organization is an organisation which aims to reach the residents of Lyon aged 0-99 years old.
The organisation offers non-formal education through many activities : weekly training (circus, dance, art, theatre, sports…), youth center (information about health, academic orientation, jobs and work, culture, mobility sports ; interventions in high schools and junior high ; open space with computers and access to the internet…), extracurricular activities for elementary school children…
Its goals are :
> personal fulfilment and growth
> socializing and meeting with others
> inclusion and integration in society, development of citizenship and solidarity
The organization welcomes everyone without distinction of gender, color, ethnicity, religion, etc.

The youth center welcomes youngsters from 11 to 25 years old. There, they can find various activities such as :
> Wednesday Afternoon Activities (ex : video game design; music video creation; homemade cosmetic creation ; movie debate ; etc.)
> Trips to shows : Dance, theatre, circus, classical music, opera…
> Youth Information Center about health, risk prevention, mobility, academic orientation, jobs and work, culture, sports...

Perfil: We are looking for a volunteer that will:
> Like to work with children/youngsters
> Like to communicate and meet people
> Enjoy sharing about his country and culture
> Want to be involved in earth and climate preservation
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: This project include 3 main missions in which the volunteer will be supported by the team member:
> Eco Logic : It is a project about environment and earth preservation.

> Youth Information : The volunteer will take part in all the organization's activities regarding youth (11 to 25 y.o) including Wednesday afternoon activities (ex: video game design; music video creation; homemade cosmetic creation ; movie debate ; etc.) ; trips to shows : dance, theatre, circus, classical music, opera… ; Youth Information Center about health, risk prevention, mobility, academic orientation, jobs and work, culture, sports...

> Cultural awareness is a mix of several activities toward the members/adherents. The volunteer will organize cultural activities about it's country and culture. He will also promote the ESC. Regarding the current sanitary situation, some of the missions will be adapted accordingly (mainly concerning the trips to shows). The project will last 324 days + 2 travelling days.

Condições: Accommodation, food and transport are funded by the project. Accommodation will take place in a young adult center. The volunteer will have an independent room with a bathroom and common restauration area. If the place is full, he will be hosted by a host family. He will have the opportunity to lunch with the team members. The volunteer will be given an unlimited local transportation card and a sim card. At his arrival, he will be given an Info pack with information about Lyon, emergency numbers, etc. After taking the shuttle from the airport, a team member will meet him at the drop place.
