Resumo: The hosting organization has already from the start been deeply connected with creative activism and actions in urban spaces to empower people for social change.
Upcycling has been one of our central themes since establishing as an NGO in 2010. Related to upcycling and sustainability, we have developed modules for education in school, hosted workshops in demonstrations, neighbourhood centres, public spaces, refugee shelters and more. We have hosted international youth exchanges, training courses.

We have implemented over 15 ERASMUS+ (former Youth in Action projects), hosted more than 10 EVS mobilities, been partners in strategic partnership- and capacity building projects.
Locally we are busy with running a few long term neighbourhood projects on participative and sustainable neighbourhoods, building communities through environmentally friendly practices and social networking.

Perfil: - Residents of Latvia or Spain, BUT residents of other EU countries will also be considered,
- 18-30 years old,
- English or/and German in a B2 / upper intermediate level,
- Affiliation with the organization core values and mission,
- Interest and motivation to learn and contribute to the team work in the collective (attending meetings, making protocols, facilitating, communicating decisions, etc.),
- Ability to orientate and work in changing and sometimes chaotic circumstances,
- Ability to work in horizontal structure, take initiative, and take responsibility for your own action

Tarefas: During the volunteering project, You will be able to decide on Your own composition of tasks and responsibilities. However, we are looking for volunteers with motivation and skills or deepened interest in 3 or more of the point mentioned below:

- design, drawing, visuals,
- photography, video making and documentation,
- Open Source tools,
- crafting skills (esp textile, but any), not being afraid of drill or sewing machine,
- social media and generally PR, including spreading the information about the T&E activities,
- text writing and editing, ewtl proofreading,
- events from A to Z - support workshops and meetings in the project space and in public events,
- community building - feels comfortable with supporting public events, communicating with visitors, bypassers,
- food - cooking, preserving food, foodsharing and genuine interest in food cycle,
- logistics and material supporting the organisation of projects and events - preparation and maintenance of the material storage, space, logistics,
- urban and community gardening, seeds, plants, soil.
