Resumo: The project aims to give a possibility to 4 unemployed young people from 2 countries to develop their competences, gain real work experience, raise the creativity and entrepreneurship and to promote international volunterism.
The main task for the group of volunteers will be restoring and upgrading garden of youth cultural centre, using mostly recycled and natural materials that are friendlier for environment.

This means creating visual plan, making full equipment, fitting-out works, actually building, as well as promotion of garden and the project itself. They will also help at the preparation ond realisation of one festival and other events, which are planned for the period july-august 2016. During the project different workshops will be organized .

They will get basic knowledge how to renovate, how to use recycled materials, how to weld, how use different art techniques, how to deal with the audio sound engeneering and other skills needed for the successful organization and realisation of different events. They will documate their activities and publish the process and progress on live blog. They will live in the flat in the old town center, 5 minutes walking from the youth center.

During the project activities volunteers will live and work together, and also in collaboration with local youth so they will explore each others culture to fosters mutual understanding between young people in different countries.

Perfil: • young unemployed person in age 18-30;
• with an interest and skills in construction work/design/arts/crafts;
• able to communicate in English;
• ready to spend 8 weeks in small town in beautiful Slovenia;
• willing to gain new skills, experience and work in a team;
• ready to share living space with other young people from different countries.
