Resumo: The vision of the Toys’ Museum is to be the cozy education centre for children and their families where they would be able to learn about toys and their history. Volunteer mostly would be around families, children and youngsters. Volunteer is welcome to extend their knowledge in modern museology and to share a joy in working with young curious visitors.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Basic task planed for a volunteer: playing activities with children; presenting expositions to adult groups (he/she will learn to work and to communicate with children groups of different age; to gain experience in presenting topics in public, to widen his/she's creativity in finding new ways of education and entertainment); creating educational programs (it will help to take challenge to work in a team, to share different experiences and ideas, to learn to create new projects and to accomplish them).

A typical agenda of a week in Vilnius´ museum:
MONDAY – free day

TUESDAY – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. preparation for the work, ordering of exposition items; cleaning place of educational work; educational assistance for the school and preschool groups (max 3 groups); meeting with a tutor, reviewing of weekly tasks 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. lunch time 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. – working with museums funds, inventorying of new exhibits; visiting other museums.

WEDNESDAY 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. preparation for the work, ordering of exposition items; cleaning place of educational activity; educational assistance for the school and preschool groups (max 3 groups); 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. lunch time 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. – educational activity with visitors (e.g. „Games of the world“, „National games“ etc.)

THURSDAY 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. preparation for the work, ordering of exposition items; cleaning place of educational activity; educational assistance for the school and preschool groups (max 3 groups); 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. lunch time 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. – educational activity with visitors (e.g. „Games of the world“, „National games“ etc.)

FRIDAY 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. preparation for the work, ordering of exposition items; cleaning place of educational activity; educational assistance for the school and preschool groups (max 3 groups); 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. – educational activity with visitors (e.g. „Games of the world“, „National games“ etc.)

SATURDAY 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. educational activity with visitors (e.g. „Games of the world“, „National games“ etc.); workshops of a toys and games inventory.

SUNDAY – free day
