Resumo: The host organization is a private school under public law organized by parents. Children from 6 to 14 years attend our school.
We aim to support and accompany our children in developing their personality, considering their personal needs and strengths. The education of our kids emphasizes independence, self-confidence and self-organization.

Our pedagogic principles are based on Maria Montessori besides others. In a well-prepared setting children choose among different subjects, activities and materials according to their own interests, needs and capabilities. The main function of our teachers is to observe actively, support the pupils and help them with what they do in a variety of different contexts.

Subjects and topics are presented in a way that is as close as possible to the children’s reality, e.g. biological topics are presented in nature, historical topics at historical sites, etc. The given surrounding at school, in town or in our region is always included in our teaching as much as possible.

Besides that, there are projects, workshops and presentations held or supported by parents, local authorities and organizations as well as specialists. Parental support is very important to our school, all parents are members of the school association, some constitute the board of the association, others contribute with all the work needed besides the work of our pedagogical staff, from cleaning the school to cooking, gardening, organizing events, etc.

By this, children, parents and teachers work together to achieve certain goals in the education of our children, to enable them to be attentive and empathic, to treat others and oneself with respect, to care for the environment, to gain autonomy and maturity as well as social, personal and factual competence.

We have 62 pupils, age 6 to 14, 7 teachers, 4 part time teachers and a secretary for administrative work.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: • To support our pedagogical staff in their work - help prepare and give presentations, take part in project work, exhibitions, games, events, drama group, etc.
• To share with children, parents and teachers the customs, traditions and the life style of their home country
• To be available for the students' questions and concerns, support them, learn, play and talk with them
• To enrich our daily work with his/her inputs and own ideas concerning his/her home country and otherwise
