Resumo: The main goal of the host organization is to offer various welfare and care services for children and adults with cognitive/developmental and multiple disability). The has a children’s centre with 35 children, the centre for adults for 55 persons between 18 and 50 years of age.and the other centre with 13 adults. Activities at the day care centre are meant to support and empower different abilities (physical, cognitive, communicative, social and everyday skills) of the persons to increase his or her ability to cope and participate in everyday life to the fullest extent possible.

Perfil: Volunteer should be motivated to work with people with severe disabilities. It would be good if she/he has previous experiences in the field but it is not determining factor in the application process. Volunteer should have sense of self initiative and be proactive. Basic English is required.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: centre for children offers services for children with severe mental and multiple disabilities. Volunteer will be assisting teachers during various activities and workshops done together with the children. Volunteer has the opportunity to offer her/his own activities for the children
