Resumo: The host organization works with peace education for children and youth. We work with experiential learning, education children and youth for a more just a peaceful world. We organize international, national and local camps, seminars and trainings.

Since 2010, the organization have had EVS-volunteers working at the office with different issues regarding peace education. They have a personal project that aims to add an extra dimension to our organization. These projects includes information work, development of new educational tools, and hosting trainings and seminars.
The next volunteer opportunity starts Summer 2016 and will last for 1 year. Applications are now open and you can apply here.

Desired applicant profile:
Experience living abroad
Project management experience
Experience with peace education
Experience as an active volunteer in an NGO
Experience of experiential learning techniques.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Learn about the organization and the Norwegian civil society
Plan, run, evaluate and document peace education sessions with the National Education Committee at a local and national level
Further develop communication tools of the organization
Run a personal project. The specific project will be designed by the volunteers and the organization
Blog about their experience and current peace related issues.
