Resumo: Our NGO, after 12 years of experience in youth work within our local neighborhood and 7 years of European projects (Youth in Action, Life Long Learning, Erasmus+), has experienced the EVS action the last year through 5 approved projects. Building up on its experience and expertise it has reached to a decision that the intercultural experience and the impact it had on the local community gained through the projects is important. Therefore It has taken the decision of carrying on the successful project by hosting 6 volunteers from 5 different countries within our neighborhood.

Tarefas: DAY CARE CENTER & Children’s and adults lending Library
The Day Care Center offers an innovative and unique program in its kind in Cyprus as it provides day care and therapeutic and educational interventions from a multi-disciplinary specialized team including physiotherapist, occupational therapist and special education teachers. In addition, through its various activities the organization facilitates children’s social activities and social integration. The Center provides a holistic approach to cerebral palsy and one of the primary aims is to offer support to the children's’ families. The organization also offers treatments to children that do not attend the day care. An EVS volunteer can help with the kids and also with promoting of what Anemone does. Planning events and actions, or whatever he/she thinks that could be useful to promote the center!

Library hosts a lending library for children and adults. The library works with a digital system of lending and borrowing and also hosts events related to literacy and promotion of book reading. From this year with last volunteers start “Fridge Library”.
