Resumo: The host organization is a kindergarten and daycare nursery established 7 years ago with 100 children (between 6 months – 6 years) and about 25 employees. It is located on a big natural ground, with for example our own small wood and sledge slope. About 20% of our children and their families have moved from other countries and cultures. That is why we got used to welcome people with different ethnic, religious and linguistic background than Danish.
The overall values of the municipality – which the host organization is a part of – are we are decent – we are curious – we act. The fundamental values of the organization are quality of life, heartwarming, community and cohesion, positivity and involvement. Every employee and volunteers has to work in accordance with those values.

Perfil: -English knowledge,
-Giving and motivating attitude to be around children,
-Interested in working with children in the future,
-Having a police clearance, the volunteer will be asked to bring one.
-We are a tolerant workplace and value diversity among both our children and in the staff group.
-Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Tasks in this specific European Voluntary Service position
A volunteer can be busy with the following tasks:
– participation in educational tasks and activities with the children inside and outside – helping the children for eating and dressing
– practical work
– playing with the children.

Approximately the 90% of travel expenses will be reimbursed; accommodation, meals and insurance are provided by the host organization, in addition volunteers will also receive pocket money monthly.
