Resumo: The coordinating organization is a youth association, registered in 2006, however active as an informal group since 2004.
The aims of the organization are:
- promotion of intercultural understanding and youth cooperation
- promotion of voluntary work and youth participation
- youth empowerment

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: We have a wide range of duties for our future volunteers. Among them are (avarage) :
- 3 hours per day: help with everyday basic activities, such a breakfast, walks, games, workshops and reading books.
- 2 hours per day: time for children with special needs (walks, games, assigned tasks)
- 2 hours per day: organising meetings with invited guests (e.g. police, city guard, firefighters) and make special events, sport activities and competitions.
- 1,5 hour/ two times per week: Polish language classes.
- 1 hours/week meeting with mentor
- 2 hour per week meeting with EVSMate
Volunteers will achieve professional background for future work with children, especially disabled. Our well educated and experienced staff will share all of their working technics, formal and informal. They will teach how to communicate with mentally handicapped in many different ways. During the program duties of our volunteers will extend, so they could use in practise the theory they have gained. Over time they will be asked to prepare a script of a lesson and an event and lead them independently. Such a practise will develop also their management and leadership skills. Another advantage is discovering polish culture and studying our language. Volunteers will also get an opportunity to prepare activities concerning their culture and expand it among our society.
