Resumo: The Youth Centre is located in the village. The environment is characterized by arctic nature and three cultures. Also the nearness of the Arctic Ocean in Norway and Russia are emphasized. The town is located in amidst incredible lake scenery on the shores of Lake, near the wilderness area and of the recreation area . Also, the great Lake and the fishy River offer activities. In the village there are two shops, two hotels and three restaurants.

Rules that are valid during EVS-project:
* volunteer (s) under-aged are not allowed to use any drugs
* no smoking during work day
* silence at 11 pm
* coming work on time
* good manners

Perfil: We are looking for volunteer (s) who are interested in sport, experiental education, nature, indoor and outdoor activities (such as skiing, snowshoeing, climbing etc.), different cultures, teaching and guiding, It´s good to have experience of working with children and young people.
During recruitment process we´ll take every application into account. We observe also minorities and we take care of equality among boys and girls. When we make interwievs, we reserve enough time for everyone, especially if we don´t have common language.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: We will give volunteer a possibility to work with international youngster groups. Our main activities is to organize activities for young people, with the aim to give them positive experiences and support their personal development and knowledge of them self and the society around them, f.x. through intercultural learning, group activities, outdoor activities etc.

Volunteer(s) will work with experienced guides and help them in outdoor group activities f.x. gps-orienteering, ice fishing, skiing and survival skills and in Arctic Ocean tour. Volunteer(s) will learn many kinds of things about the nature f.x. what means Polar night and Northern lights and how to handle with snow and extreme conditions. Volunteer(s) will also help in maintenance and in kitchen.
Depending on experience EVS-volunteer (s) will get a chance to plan and learn f.x.new activities for stuff.
