Resumo: The project of the cooperative intends to develop in the area of the Local Health, which corresponds as a rule with the area of the Province, with the City as epicentre of the legal-administrative and operative activities. The geographical background in which the host structure is situated is the area of the Province. It consists of 552.303 inhabitants and it includes 71 Communes; it’s the most densely-populated of the Provinces. Situated in the southern part, the city overlooks the centre. It is characterized by a mild typically Mediterranean climate: seldom temperatures drop below zero in winter time and hot in summer. Frequent is the presence of winds, such as the mistral and the sirocco. An ample and varied (for distribution and offer) hospitality system, with peaks of excellence renowned in the world, allows the visitor to delight in places of incomparable beauty.

The main beach of the city which stretches for about 8 km, it is the favourite destination of all the inhabitants; for what concernes the places of great cultural importance, besides the National Archaeological Museum which houses a precious collection of archaeological finds from different prehistoric and historic eras, are noteworthy: the Roman Amphitheatre (II Century), the Basilica o (the most ancient church, founded in the V Century); the fortified quarter, residence of the nobles up to the Second World War. In the whole Province it is possible to visit the famous, symbolic and representative monuments of the great and ancient Nuragic civilization.

For what concerns the young volunteers’ hospitality, the Cooperative provides the accommodation in a rented flat in the city centre, thus assuring facility in moving by bus or metro. For what concerns the board, the Cooperative guarantees hot and hearty meals in the structures where the volunteers will be inserted, from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays free modalities of lunch and dinner are to be expected, in any case board is guaranteed by previous agreements stipulated with university refectories and local restaurants.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: - Initial training activities: organized and carried out in the registered office of the Cooperative with meetings of the general presentation of EVS, the specific project insertion of the volunteer, the host organization and Structures for Social People with Disabilities Psychic in which activities will take place daily , training modules on safety at work (4 hours) and active citizenship (about 1 week).

- Daily activities: join the volunteer workers, employees of the Cooperative, in the activities of daily life conducted with users of Social Structures.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to live and share the moments of daily routine in contact with users and operators: Educators, Social and Health Operators and care workers. The method that will be used initially will be "Observation", aimed at understanding the relationship dynamics and management and internal rules. Subsequently, the method used is that of '' Making Learning "through the support of the inhabitants of the Structures in daily activities and daily life.

- Recreation activities in the Social Structures: (some examples)
* Painting workshop is aimed at recovering, maintenance and enhancement of cognitive skills, expressive and social as well as the development of the relationship and socialization. Will be held on Mondays from 15:00 to 20:00.
* Laboratory of creative recycling: users will experience techniques and materials, an activity that promotes the development of manual skills, creative and expressive, aggregation and improving coordination and perceptual-motor skills. Will be held on Wednesdays from 15:00 to 20:00.
* Photographic laboratory: includes a first phase in which users, supported by volunteers, will take confidence with the tools and a second phase which will consist of a series of releases in which users, accompanied by young volunteers and operators realize photo shoots with the idea of building a set of representative images of his own vision of the neighborhoods. Will take place on Friday from 15:00 to 20:00.

In all activities involving volunteers will use the methodologies of group work.

- Extra activities: occasionally on weekends, guided tours will be organized for the volunteers, accompanied by tutors in places of historic, artistic and cultural.

The volunteers will be more aware of their own potential, can be active citizens (not only locally but also European and world) and will gain at the end of the path, the skills they can use in the job market. Young people bring with them, at the end of the EVS, a cultural load values and experiences that will be useful in their future, every day. They will learn to be sensitive and tolerant to diversity and to have a positive conception of health and community with a view inclusive.
