Perfil: We would like to have volunteers who are active and friendly to the children, ones should know how to deal with kids and love them. Another important thing is creativity of the personalities, who can think of different alternatives and like playing with children, and be childrens' bigger friend. We are willing to have some different intercultural experience.
Also volunteers will have a possibility to spend time in coordinating organization, together with its members and local youth. Also they will have free time.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will gain technical and vocational skills in child care as they would assist the teachers, only later when they feel quite well they will be able to take a responsibility - as far as admitted by legal liabilities.
The cooperation in a social project will afford the volunteers a vocational orientation and a perspective for the professional life.
Having the responsibility for designing and realisation of leisure facilities will enhance self-assurance and self-confidence of the volunteer.
Participation in internal professional development activities will provide the volunteers with specialised knowledge of the educational system.
Integration in a foreign culture and the self-determined life of the local community will afford the volunteer a personal orientation and increase the development of future perspectives.

Volunteers will work alongside qualified members of staff as a supernumerary assistant. Volunteers will help the staff to assist the children and groups in learning and carrying out the activities. One volunteer will work with the 1-4 form children as well as with the reception class (last year kindergarten) children.
Volunteers will work with groups alone or in a leading capacity, but always alongside staff in the capacity of an assistant.
Volunteers could develop their own ideas introducing new games, activities or stories into a personal project if they wish so - creative ideas are always welcome. The remaining of volunteers' time will be spent in helping with other aspects of work at the School - assisting with serving meals to the children, cleaning and preparing equipment, planning activities and courses. Volunteers activities: creative education, social, intercultural games.

The main work of volunteer could be educational games (traditional games, songs, dances, outdoor games) and practical basic, interactive cultural and language teaching. We believe that volunteers could refresh the School social cultural life and also would introduce non-formal way of learning.

We want to give space and place for young volunteers to use their skills and knowledge as well as their creativity designing new different activities during their stay in our organisation. Mutual learning will broaden the horizons of the children as well as the volunteers and the school staff.
The volunteer could enrich the child care activities by new ideas and perspectives.

We could offer for young people an interesting field of informal learning, where they can get involved and get to know main features of child care and education. We also believe that project would enrich experience for volunteers who will have possibility to see life of Lithuanian countryside, life of rural people living in village.
