Resumo: The town has 5300 inhabitants, conomic background: mainly agriculture - big vegetable processing industry in the region; small commercial enterprises;Good infrastructure.
A city with a lot of cultural possibilities as cinemas, theatres, shopping centers. LThe city can be reached by train or bus easily which takes about 20 minutes.

Perfil: It is important that the volunteers can find themselves in the pedagogical issues of our institute, how we want to care for our clients (treat them with acceptance and appreciation, self-determination).
They shall be part of our professional teams, so they should like to work with people, to exchange opinions and views and be open for new experiences.
The recruitment process is organised by the Verein 4yougend which proposes young volunteers to our organisation, so we can make a choice between the volunteers and get in contact with the sending organisations.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: Volunteers can learn to deal with handicapped people, such as daily assistance in everday life, leisure time activities as sports, arts, theatre and pedagogic issues. They will be part of care-teams, so that a lot of personal contact within the team will be possible as well as learning how to participate in a team and do good team work.

The volunteer will support the staff members in their work with the clients assisting in leisure-time activities, additional services in the educational field, cultural activities with the clients, such as going to the cinema or theater. Additional skills from part of the volunteers such as offering sports, cooking or language courses, information about their countries, and so on, are very welcome.

Many activities concern the leisure time of our clients, such as going for walks, riding by bike, going to the theater or cinema, making trips into nature, the zoo, going to restaurants. We also have a theater group, sport and art groups and a multi-media group in which volunteers can participate. Any new idea is welcome, so that our clients can profitate of a huge range of offers.
