Resumo: The centre is renting a space of more than 200 sq m. The organization is planning to rent other rooms of about 190 sq m in April 2012.
There are 4 rooms a changing room for staff, a changing room for visitors, a kitchen, a playroom for children, a spacious hall ( for exercises), corridor, an office room, and all the necessary facilities. All rooms have recently been refurnished and provided room for all kinds of activities.
The centre is situated in the centre of town near the bus station, train station, und the city traffic station (all 5 minutes´ walk).
There are many opportunities of sightseeing, cultural activities, festivals and entertainment for young people. There are a lot of clubs und pubs which organize concerts of different kind of music.

The accommodation:
The volunteer has a room for him/her at the halls of residence. The bathroom and kitchen is available for two students. The volunteer has a room with furniture, TV, internet. At the halls of residence is a washing machine available for students.

Perfil: Organization wants people from different countries to teach us about culture of their countries. We are open to receive new ideas. Thanks to volunteers we will be able to look at our organization from a different point of view. We can compare culture and an approach to life in different countries.

We are able to communicate with volunteers in English, German and Russian. However we are open to welcome people from all countries.

We request a CV and a motivation letter from all candidates. As we work with children, we request also a criminal record.

We want to communicate with them as much as possible via e-mail or Skype, where we can see each other. We can learn as much as possible about each other, and also find out about motivation, interest and requests of volunteers and organization.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: 1. What our organization offers the volunteers:
- They will be involved in everyday run of the organization.
- They will learn to work and communicate with children, young people und adults.
- They will be involved in already running activities according to their interest and experience.
- They will be enabled to put in practice their own new ideas or activities according to their interest and experience. We support them in all these activities.
- They will learn about new culture and customs.
- They will have opportunity to participate in interesting activities and meet a lot of new interesting people.
- We will teach them Czech language in our organization.
- We get them money for transport card in the city.
- We will offer them activities to do in their free time.
- They will gain a lot of new experience and knowledge which they can use or transfer in their work and life.

2. The role of EVS volunteers:
- We will help them to gain their role in the team.
- We will support them to get involved into team of our organization.
- We will help them with preparing their work for activities of organization.
- They will work together with other employees of organization during the activities with children and young people. Czech law does not permit the volunteers to work alone with children and neither does the EVS.

3. We suggest the following activities:

- After school club – 20 %. This activity is visited by children of the age from 6- 17 (about 7-13 children). This activity is in the afternoon.
Role of the volunteer: direct work with children and youth in the club, each volunteer works in pairs with a club worker, participates in meetings with the Club team, and participates in activities and holiday programs of the organization according to the volunteer´s focus.
Examples of possible projects: culture event, seminar, exhibition, sport competition, courses (graffiti, encaustic painting, shamanic drumming), weekend for youth or children.
Learning opportunities: social-pedagogic skills, team work skills, work under supervision, possibility to attend courses in our organization.

-Nursery – 40 % - This activity is visited by children of the age from 1-5 (about 4-12 children) This activity is from 8 AM – 4 PM every day.
Role of the volunteer: direct work with children in the nursery, each volunteer works in pairs with a nurse maid, participation on meetings of the nursery, participation on activities and the day program of the nursery.
Examples of possible projects: culture event, seminar, exhibition, sport competition, weekend for youth or children.
Learning opportunities: social-pedagogic skills, team work skills, work under supervision.

-Activities for adults – 15%. These activities are visited by about 10-20 adults. This activity takes place in the afternoon from 3-7 PM
Role of the volunteer: direct work with adults, each volunteer works in pairs with a teacher from the activities, participation on meetings of activities for adults, participation on activities for which activities he or she has interest.
Examples of possible projects: culture event, seminar (financial grammar, healthy lifestyle) courses (zumba, callanetics, pilates, poweryoga, encaustic painting).
Learning opportunities: social-pedagogic skills, team work skills, work under supervision.

-Organize some activity, play, exhibitions at the weekend - 25% .
These activities are visited by people of all ages. They can be attended by 25 – 400 people. It depends on the type of activity. I.e. a Family Afternoon with shamanic drumming is visited by 25 people, because we have 25 drums. But some activities i.e. the Childrens´Day is visited by 400 people.
Role of the volunteer: participation in the thinking process, preparation and organization of activities, work directly with participators, each volunteer works in pairs with an employer of the organization of the activities, participation on meetings of the activity, participation in activities on which he or she is interested in.
Examples of possible projects: culture event – Easter day, Christmas Children’s Day. These activities are organized outdoors, in room the activities, they are for families with children, children and youth. They take about 5 hours und there are programs dealing with the customization of habits.
Learning opportunities: social-pedagogic skills, team work skills, work under supervision.

The coordinating organization provides accommodation, training and support, and a mentor.
Activities mentioned above will be prepared according to the abilities and wishes of the volunteers. Volunteers have the possibility to attend courses in our organization with a discount. They can say, in which activities they want to work.
