Resumo: The host organization is located in a accessible to medium-sized oceangoing ships, it has large grainhandling
and warehousing facilities. It is also an important industrial center with textile,
food-processing and other factories. Furthermore, the town has several supermarkets such as Billa,
Metro, Lidle, Selgros and Carrefour.
In addition it also has several parks, spaces where people can play different types of sports, an
iceskating and a mall full of shops and a big cinema.
Therefore the host placement is located in a live-in community but there are no special rules which
have to be respected despite the normal ones such as not disturbing the people arround you,
keeping a civilized manner, not destroying something and so on.
Perfil: Young person aged between 18-30 years, willing to learn new things, and willing to face multiculturalism.
Willing to work in a team, able to assume and carry out the responsibilities in a set time, communicative, active, detached, optimistic and eager to turn their skills into competences.
Young person coming from peripheral regions with fewer opportunities;
To have digital competences (Adopo Photoshop, Office, web development, etc.)
To be open to work on democracy
Tarefas: The first objective of the project is the developing the civic skills and abilities for 4 EVS volunteers for a ten months period.
The second objective is to make a information exchange in a training that will least two weeks on an European theme, with a team made by four youngsters and a leader for every country. The leaders will meet in a planification visit that will be two months before the youngsters exchange
.The third objective of the project aims is to involvement of at least 300 young people in civic activities in the city for a period of 10 months.
Volunteers will help achieve debates and meetings with young people to collect information about community problems and then be presented to local authorities for be solved!
