Resumo: The Centre provides social care services for about 200 people who cannot take care of themselves, live at their homes without help, cannot do everyday homework because of their age or health problems, or those whose families are unable to help. The Centre is also the permanent residence for about 20 elderly people with restrictions on physical abilities, which means, they cannot take care of themselves and a number of disabled people (groups I and II) from the age of 18.

In order to get the proper social care services, according to their individual needs, there are four levels of care.
Under the umbrella of the Center, there is the Pensioners Day The Care centre that can offer services for about 60-70 seniors at the same time every day. The services proposed to the residents are the following: housework activities, celebrations, opportunity to attend sports classes and different events as well as spending time with family and friends. There is a group of 20 young disable people who come to the centre every day.

In the Center there is a living area, rooms shared by not more than 4 people, living rooms with furniture, footwear and clothes suitable for gender and weather, personal hygiene items and catering according to the age and health conditions (not less than 3 times a day) etc.

Perfil: The volunteer will have to show interest and sensibility towards working with young people and adults, and will be able to use and show empathy, integrity and consideration. Volunteer also should be creative and motivated to work in a dynamic intercultural atmosphere and able to take initiative. All skills which can allow him/her to develop new activities in our Centre are welcomed. We hope them to be ready to take creative duties and to be responsible and autonomous enough to propose, prepare and organize new activities and his/her own work according to these skills.

Other factors, which are important for the future volunteer's work, are ability to speak English on at least a basic level (basic Russian can be useful, too) and volunteers need to be 18 or older.
For recruitment (hosting) of volunteers we will use: open date bases for EVS host/sending, current partnerships with international organizations, as well as social networking. It will be an open call.
All European sending and hosting organizations are invited for cooperation with our organization in EVS programme.

Tarefas: Volunteers main tasks will involve helping the staff to take care of old people and youth who need help, organizing creative activities in the Center, doing sport activities and exercises, walking outside with old people and young people with special needs. They will make the Center's life more colorful, active and international.
