Resumo: The host organization is located in a city where the volunteers will be host.The mountains are easily accessible from the city. Some of these mountains provide skiing slopes The city is situated in the valley and is encircled on all sides by hills and mountains, which makes the climate in the city milder than the rest of the surrounding area. Abrupt temperature changes take place and, during the winters, the temperatures may occasionally drop below -20 degrees Celsius. It has a high level of culture and education, being home to theatres, schools, museums and art galleries.

The economic activity has been based on the mining activities located in the surrounding areas. They have been replaced with several activities which have improved the city's economy in recent years. The city has become one of the most economically evolved cities in the region. As a result, several supermarkets have been built in the city and at least one shopping mall was opened .

The EVS volunteers will be accommodated in a rented apartment or in one of our places: in a three-room apartment or in a house with four bedrooms.Anyway, the mentioned places are in safe area.They have to observe the rules of a good cohabitation, to keep clean the place.
They will develop their activities in one of our centers (Day care center, Miani Community, Night shelter, Semi-autonomy service,aid warehouse) or in comunity according to their skills and preferences.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: - creative workshops, social and recreational activities in Day Care Center and community Miani;
- support activities in the Night shelter and Mobile Unit (games, literacy, recreational activities, identifying solutions for assistance of beneficiaries;
- participation in volunteer training meetings;
- support to the preparation and dissemination of various volunteers activities in the community (summer camp, animation in poor communities, social activities;
- participating in language courses and mentoring meetings ;
- workshops, intercultural evenings, public cafè, photovoice exhibition, flashmob, making film - testimony of their experience, good practice model and dissemination tool;
- attending an event at the European Youth Capital 2015 and other activities that they propose during the stage;
