Resumo: The host organization is active in one of Germany's most culturally diverse regions. Three of the ten German cities with the highest immigrant.

the organization is renting three apartments in an apartment building in the outskirts. The apartments' social space to allows up to 18 youth. The residential area is calm and surrounded by forest. Nearby one can find sport and swimming facilities, as well as shopping centres and restaurants. Offenbach's city centre can be easily reached by public transportation, as can Frankfurt's city centre.
In order that the living and work environments at the organization remain undisturbed, the following rules have been set into place:
-The consumption and possesion of alcohol and other drugs is strongly prohibited during working hours, within the apartments and on the Neusalzer str.
- Boys and girls do not sleep in the same apartments. To support this rule and assure enough time for regeneration and sleep there is a time in which it is perhibited to stay in the apartments of the other gender. This time is set at 23:00 for weekdays (Sunday through Thursday) and 02:00 on the weekend (Friday and Saturday)
- Unnecesary bodily contact between genders in the office or on projects is inappropriate. During the time at organization, intimacies in the apartments or on projects is not allowed and can only lead to dismissal.
- It will be decided who is permitted to drive the organisation's vehicles based on the individual driving skills of the volunteers. All the car trips will be entered into the driving logs. The drivers are individually responsible for paying off fines. In the organisation's vehicles, everyone is to buckle up.
-During working hours, private affairs should not be tended to. Chatting, surfing the net, watching films or videos is not permitted during working hours.

Perfil: The volunteer should be between 18 and 25 years old and have basic knowledge of the german language. He/she should enjoy work with children. He/she enjoys working in a team with like-minded peers, is communicative, is open and honest, is willing to learn, is creative and wants to use his/her skills to move and change something in the world. The volunteer is ready to live together with 17 further volunteers. It is good if the volunteer already has experience with the work with children and teens as well as with theater. However, this is not a must. It would also be of help if the volunteer has a drivers licence and had knowledge regarding computers and standard operating systems; this is, again, not a must.

On our webpage, we will give further information on the possibility of an EVS in our organisation. We offer the applicants the possibility to visit our organisation in advance. We will have a telephone interview with applicants who are not able to visit us prior to their year, to find out more about them. In the case that an applicant cancles, we offer the chance to inform us of the reasons why the EVS will not take place.

Tarefas: The organization offers youth the opportunity to give one year to the service of their communities, of humanity. This is an offer for teenagers and young adults who have left school and want to do either something voluntary, something social, community service, or an internship before they go on to study or continue with an apprenticeship.

The volunteers devide themselves into groups of five. Each team will have the responsibility to do around 450 shows based on the organization show methods (these methods are further described in the attached information booklet). The volunteers take on a large variety of tasks, such as contact to schools, pre and post show talks with the teachers, planning rehearsals, writing scripts, directing, presenting a show, acting, animating, driving, etc.

In this year, the volunteers do not only go on show and do the tasks related to that, they also actively help with the management of the organisation and thereby gain valuable insight into the organisatory work. This overview is obtained through, among other things, the management of the homepage, the creation of information folders, the search for new volunteers, the support in fundraising, the creation of an annual documentation

In addition to the normal Programm the volunteers have the opportunity to create their own social project. Each Friday they can individually or teamed up with others design their own project and puit it into action. Here they can fully capitalize on their own creative capacity. Carriyng out projects such as for example a theater wokrshop at a youth centre or a environmental project at the nearby forest or perhaps a language coaching for migrant families the volunteers learn to put their own ideas in to action
